Boxwood advises Carter Bank & Trust on its acquisition of Bank Building Corporation. 

RICHMOND, VA (APRIL 30, 2008): Carter Bank & Trust (OTC: CARE) and Bank Building Corporation announced that on April 30, 2008 Bank Building Corporation merged with and into Carter Bank. Carter Bank is the surviving corporation following the merger. Boxwood Partners, LLC acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Carter Bank & Trust with respect to the transaction.
