Patrick Galleher


Patrick Galleher is a Managing Director for Boxwood Partners; a merchant bank in Richmond, Virginia, where he leads transactions for Boxwood’s M&A advisory services and private equity group. He has led several transactions including the sale of Dorsey Wright & Associates, the capital raise for Digital Risk, the minority investment in Sweet Frog Yogurt and the buy-outs of Yoga Direct, Yoga Accessories, Everything Yoga and Red Rock Products. 

Prior to joining Boxwood, Patrick was CEO of WILink plc (now known as PrecisionIR), a global financial communications business with operations in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Continental Europe, and Sweden. During Patrick’s 12 year tenure with the Company, he quickly progressed from a top salesperson to product management to Chief Operating Officer to CEO, and was actively involved in all aspects of the business. Patrick was COO/President at the time WILink went public on the London Stock Exchange, and led and integrated 5 acquisitions during his tenure to expand the Company’s core capabilities and client base. In 2006, as CEO, he successfully led the Company through a public-to-private transaction / sale to a NY-based private equity group. 

Patrick holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and a degree from the London Business School as well as attending the Centre for Creative Leadership in Belgium. He is a board member and founder of the Virginia Chapter of Young President’s Organization (YPO) and is a board director for Sweet Frog Yogurt, PrecisionIR Group, Midlothian Athletic Club and Shockoe Commerce Group; a rapidly growing online multi-channel retailer and portfolio company of Boxwood Capital Partners. Patrick, his wife Julia and four children all live in Midlothian, VA.

Bobby Morris


Bobby has broad investment banking and operating experience. Prior to founding Boxwood Partners, he was a senior banker with Harris Williams & Co., working in the Cobblestone Advisors group. At Cobblestone, he focused on and led middle market transactions for private equity groups, family-owned and other private companies, and publicly traded clients in the U.S. and abroad. He has also worked in the investment banking departments of Wheat First Butcher Singer (now Wachovia Securities) and Scott & Stringfellow, Inc. (now BB&T Capital Markets). In addition to his extensive middle market investment banking experience, Bobby was a co-founder of a private equity-backed automotive services business with locations throughout the Southeast, where he served as President and Chief Financial Officer. He holds an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia.

Mr. Morris is also a registered representative of 79 Capital Securities which is not affiliated with Boxwood Partners, Boxwood Capital Partners, or its affiliates.

Chris Deel


Prior to Boxwood, Chris was Chief Technology Officer at WILink plc, where he focused on delivering long term business success through effective IT operations management and rapid application development. In his former role he oversaw all aspects of IT infrastructure and security while managing technology sourcing relationships, with additional areas of expertise in eCommerce, new media, and internal process management. He also participated directly in the technology aspects of the due diligence and integration processes surrounding WILink’s acquisitions. Although Chris spends a majority of his time with Boxwood Capital Partners’ portfolio companies, his M&A experience is a valuable asset that is readily available to Boxwood Partners. Prior to WILink, Chris held technology-related positions at national retailers Circuit City and CarMax. 

Chris holds a B.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech) and attended the Centre for Creative Leadership in Belgium. He is a member of the Mid-Cap CIO Forum in Richmond, Virginia.

Brian Alas

Vice President

Prior to joining Boxwood, Brian worked for PwC’s Deals practice in New York. During his time with PwC, Brian performed due diligence and advisory services to both private equity and strategic investors in the consumer products, transportation and logistics, industrial products, pharmaceuticals/healthcare, and aerospace/defense industries. 

Brian holds an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Richmond and a B.S.B.A in Accounting and Finance from the University of Richmond. Brian is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.

Brian also serves as a member of the Leadership Advisory Board of The First Tee of Greater Richmond.
